Trees show their age and growth through a series of concentric rings. The origin of every tree lies at the tree’s centermost ring: its core. But it’s surrounded by countless rings, working their way out to the tree’s bark. Larger rings during a periods of rapid growth. Tight rings during periods of stagnation. You can use these rings to tell the story of the tree’s life.

In life, we grow. We stagnate. We weather storms. We change. Our own lives— laid out in a story of concentric rings. But always, in the well-protected center, is the foundation of who we are.

On occasion, it becomes necessary to chip away at all of those outside rings and return to our core. To remind ourselves of our simplest beliefs, and to revisit the things we value most.

In the seven years since Tinman Elite’s foundation, we’ve grown, we’ve scarred, and we’ve healed. Now, in 2023, we’re on our way back to that innermost ring. We’re still working toward our goals, our mission, and our vision for this sport. Because when you set out to cut to the core of a tree, you’re committing to a task that requires patience and endurance.

We’re still here, we’re still chipping away.

This collection is a nod to this ethos. It’s a reminder of that patience and endurance, of those core values, and of what Tinman Elite represents.
